help in changing from stand alone to lan admin.

I'm trying to upgrade from a standalone to a lan admin. I am running WS10.0 (in
the "about" it indicates 10.0 no decimal version).
I have downloaded the ws10migrate.exe from the ftp.ups.com server.
When I execute the file it asks for two folder locations.
1. "Copy Worldship installation files from"
2. "Worldship LAN adminstration folder"

I've made a new folder for both and tried using those values, I have tried using
the worldship folder as a value for item #1.

In every case I get an error saying that the program is incompatible with my
current version.

Sooo....

I tried installing version 11.0, and I do not have an option to install as a
"LAN adminstrator".

Any suggestions?

Hi,

You can't modify the program during upgrade. Using the Migration Utility you need to point to an installation source (i.e. install CD) and to a folder you want to designate as the 'Shared' directory that an Admin setup has.

If unsure either contact your UPS account executive and ask for technical assistance or call the technical help desk on 08003316010, if they can't solve over the phone you will get a log number and will be contacted by a local technican for 2nd level support.
